IMAN-E-MUJMAL
AMANTU BILLAHI KAMA HUWA BI’ASMA’IHI WA AHKAMIHI
I believe in Allah as He is by His Names and His Attributes and I submit to all His Commands
IMAN-E-MUFASSAL
AMANTU BILLAHI WA MALA-IKATIHI WA KUTUBIHI WA RUSULIHI WA BIL YAUMIL AAKHIRI WAL QADRI KHAYRIHI WA SHARRIHI MINALLAHI TA-A’LA WAL BA-SI BA-’DAL MA-UTI HAQQ I affirm my faith in Allah and His Angles, His Books and His Messengers And in Last of the Days (the day of Judgment) And in the Divine Decree to good and evil And that coming back to life after death is true.
The Article of Purity (The First Article of Faith)
KALIMA-E-TAYYIB
LA’ILAHA ILLALLAH MUHAMMADUR RASOOLULLAH
There is no God but Allah; Muhammad is His Messenger.
The Article of Testimony (The Second Article of Faith)
KALIMA-E-SHAHADAH
ASH-HADU ALLA ILLAHA ILLALLAHU WAHDAHU LA SHARIKALAHU WA ASH-HADUANNA MUHAMMADAN ABDUHU WA RASOOLUHU
I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, The only One and Who has no participant. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His Subject and Messenger.
The Article of Glory (The Third Article of Faith)
KALIMA-E-TAMJEED
SUBHAN’ALLAHI WAL HAMDU LILLA’HI WA LA’ILA’HA’ILLAA’HU WALLA’HU AKBAR WALA HAULA WALA QU-WATA ILLA BILLAHIL ALI-IL-AZEEM
“Glory be to Allah and the Praise; There is no God but Allah, the Greatest, There is no Power and no Might, but that with Allah.
The Article of Oneness (The Fourth Article of Faith)
KALIMA-E-TAUHEED
LA ILAHA ILLALLA’HU WAHDAHU LA’SHARIKA LAHU LAHUL MUKLUK WA LAHUL HAMDU YUHYI WA YUMEET WA HUWA HAIYUL LA YAMOOTU ABADAN ABADA ZUL JALA’LI WAL IKRAM BI YADI HIL KHA-YIR WA HUWA ALA KULLI SHAIYIN QADEER
There is no God but Allah, The only One who has no participant. The kingdom (of Universe) belongs to Him And all the praise is due unto Him. It is He who gives life and causes death; And He is Alive, Who never ever dies; The Possessor of Majesty and Grace; In His Hand is all the good And He it is Who Has Power over everything.
The Article to Repel (disbelief) (The Fifth Article Of Faith)
KALIMA-E-RADD-E-KUFR
ALLAH HUMA INNI A-UZUBIKA MIN AN USHRIKA BIKA SHAY-AN
WA ANA A-‘LAMU BIHI WA ASTAGFIRUKA LIMA LA A’-LAMU BIHI TUBTU ANHU WA TABR-RA-‘TU ANISH-SHIRKI WAL KUFRI WAL MA-A’SI KULLAHA WA AS-LAM TU WA AAMANTU WA AQOOLU LA-ILA’HA’ILLALLA’HU MUHAMMADUR RASOOLULLAH<br>
Allah, in though I seek refuge From holding anything as participant to you, knowingly; And beg thy pardon if I did it un-knowingly, I repent for it And I get rid of shirk- believing in participants with you And from disbelief and from all the sins. I bow to you (accept Islam) And believe in you-(Amantu Bika) And I say that there is no God but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
